Trenvista becomes Railin: the new global benchmark brand in the railway sector

Ferromedia Group, a publisher specialising in railway information, today announces the transformation of Trenvista into Railin, its new global brand. The change is more than a new name: it responds to the need for a simple, recognisable and easily pronounceable identity in most languages, with the word ‘Rail’ taking centre stage and immediately communicating the project’s focus in every market.

With this evolution, Ferromedia is taking a decisive step toward internationalising its flagship editorial product in the railway sector, extending its reach beyond the Spanish-speaking world and positioning it as a publication with a genuinely global outlook.

The publications have been translated into English since January 2025 and into Portuguese since June 2026, meaning that these three languages now cover a majority of the global market.

A value proposition that remains and grows stronger

Railin retains and strengthens the value proposition that established Trenvista as a reference in the sector: editorial independence, open access to its news content and a focus on delivering genuine value to railway professionals and decision-makers. Its coverage combines international current affairs, in-depth analysis and monitoring of the trends shaping the industry worldwide.

This independence is one of the characteristics that sets Railin apart from other sector publications, many of which are linked to public bodies or corporate interests. Railin is being created and developed as an autonomous editorial project, with credibility as its principal asset among readers and the companies that work with the publication.

The new name and the refreshed yet recognisably continuous visual identity support this move to a larger scale, but the underlying commitment remains unchanged: to provide rigorous and useful information for those making decisions in the railway sector.

Continuity and improvement: a growing team

The rebranding comes at a time of consolidation for the editorial project. Railin has recently welcomed a new contributor, José Miguel Vidal, who has already joined the team. We are also preparing to bring an additional writer on board in the coming weeks.

This reinforcement will ensure not only the continuity of the editorial quality that has characterised Trenvista since its launch, but also a progressive improvement in the frequency, depth and variety of the content Railin will make available to its readers.

The expansion of the team forms part of a sustained growth plan accompanying the launch of the new brand. It places Railin in a stronger position to undertake international coverage, interview key industry stakeholders and produce analyses requiring greater dedication and specialist expertise.

Issue 5 of the magazine under way

Alongside the rebranding, the Railin team is finalising the content for issue 5 of the magazine, scheduled for publication in early November 2026.

This new edition will be published under the global Railin brand, consolidating the transition and giving readers a first tangible example of the editorial improvements driven by the addition of new profiles to the team.
